The VALLEY® Cushion is scientifically designed to provide a cost effective, non-invasive pain management system to relieve pain from the “mid-line” areas around the perineum, when seated. Clinically proven, it will alleviate most perineal/perianal pain and conditions. The VALLEY® Cushion can be used in a chair, bed or while travelling. It allows sustained sitting (hours at a time) but is NOTdesigned for those who have little or no feeling in their buttocks.

The VALLEY® Cushion is supplied with two pumps; each side can be independently inflated to suit individual needs, while the user is sat on the cushion.

The VALLEY® Cushion comes with an option of two different covers. Waterproof Blue Cover which is a ‘breathable’, waterproof cover that can be wiped with antibacterial spray when soiled. Or a Luxury Blue Cover which is a velour foam backed fabric giving a soft feel and added comfort – it can be hand washed with a mild detergent and air dried. Also available for  is a COOLTECH™ Cover, which is hygienic, disposable and also waterproof, stretchable and breathable (to avoid becoming hot or sticky when in use). The COOLTECH™ Cover is designed to fit over The VALLEY® Cushion to protect it from bodily fluids and other contaminants. This cover is widely used within the NHS.

The VALLEY® Cushion will prevent wound breakdown and reduce the risk of tissue trauma. It is guaranteed for one year, but engineered for long-term use. Unlike the ‘ring’ cushion it will not adversely affect lymphatic drainage or circulation.

The benefits of The VALLEY® Cushion

  • Marked reduction on the reliance of any analgesia for pain relief
  • Faster healing rate
  • Overwhelming preferences for its effectiveness compared with the ‘ring’ cushion or other appliances
  • Reduced risk of wound breakdown
